Trump’s “One Big, Beautiful Bill” Boosts Small Business Jobs, Admin Says

July 4, 2026 – Small Business Administrator Kelly Loeffler stated on Saturday that President Donald Trump’s newly signed “One Big, Beautiful Bill” is helping restore economic opportunity for America’s small businesses while marking the nation’s 250th anniversary.

Loeffler emphasized that the legislation’s “working family tax cuts” demonstrate President Trump’s commitment to hardworking Americans, noting that “small businesses have really built this country.” She added that “America’s 36 million small businesses create two out of every three new jobs.”

The administrator criticized Democratic opposition to the measure, stating that “every single Democrat voted against what became a $4 trillion tax cut for the American people.” Loeffler argued the law delivers “tax relief, regulatory relief, and fair trade,” declaring, “We are a nation of builders because now we have tax relief, regulatory relief, and we have fair trade.”

Loeffler reported that workers are already benefiting from provisions eliminating taxes on overtime pay. She described walking factory floors with small manufacturers where employees take on additional shifts knowing their work won’t be taxed away.

The administrator also highlighted the policy’s role in reshoring industry to create jobs in areas previously affected by economic decline, noting that “600,000 jobs have been created in the last four months alone.” Loeffler underscored that small businesses account for “99% of all of our businesses across America,” calling them “the doers, the builders, and the innovators.”
