Former Housing Secretary Ben Carson Warns of Preplanned Communist Takeover in American Schools and Culture

Former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson warned on Monday that a coordinated effort to advance communism is being systematically embedded across U.S. institutions, beginning with education systems and cultural norms. Speaking on Newsmax’s “Ed Henry The Big Take,” Carson described this as an intentional campaign: “A lot of people are just kind of sleeping and not recognizing what’s going on in our country. This has been planned for a long time, taking over the school systems and teacher unions, inculcating communist thinking into our young people, changing the culture in America, denigrating our relationship with God.”

Carson emphasized that this shift is deliberately designed to “dumb down the population” before altering historical narratives. He stated: “People destroying their own future and don’t even realize it… We need to really go on a campaign of education.” The former secretary stressed Americans must avoid normalizing communism, calling it “treasonous at this time,” and warned that failure to act could allow those in power to “change the rules so no one else can get power again.”

Carson characterized communists as “very ignorant people” who mistakenly believe they know what is best for all. He added: “When they get power, they set themselves up as the God. That’s why they’re so anti-God.” Concluding his remarks, Carson challenged Americans to confront the crisis: “Are we going to let that happen? America, you got some serious thinking to do here.”
