Jelly Roll’s Daughter Bailee Ann Fumes Over Public Scrutiny of Father’s Divorce

Bailee Ann, 18, has publicly criticized the intense media attention surrounding her father Jelly Roll and his divorce from Bunnie Xo in an expiring TikTok post.

The Grammy-winning country singer filed for divorce on May 18 in Williamson County, Tennessee, citing irreconcilable differences. In her post, Bailee Ann wrote: “Oh & one more thing I am disgusted at how invested everyone is in a very clearly private family matter.” She characterized the widespread fascination as “fkn crazy” and instructed onlookers to “worry bout your house – not mine,” adding: “I’m not speaking on it – yet.”

Court documentation indicates the couple separated on May 9. Jelly Roll, 41, and Bunnie Xo, 46, plan to submit an agreement outlining the division of assets and debts. Reports state the couple had been attempting to conceive through in vitro fertilization (IVF).

The split follows anonymous allegations claiming it stemmed from Jelly Roll’s growing Christian faith clashing with his wife’s more provocative public image. Speculation began early June when Jelly Roll was spotted without his wedding ring at CMA Fest 2026 in Nashville and later appeared without it on social media.

The separation occurs shortly after Jelly Roll delivered a heartfelt speech upon winning Best Contemporary Country Album earlier this month, stating: “I want to thank my beautiful wife. I would have never changed my life without you. I would have ended up dead or in jail. I would have killed myself if it wasn’t for you and Jesus.”

The couple met at a Las Vegas venue called the Country Saloon during one of Jelly Roll’s 2015 concerts. After dating for a year, he proposed onstage in Las Vegas in 2016, and they married in a courthouse ceremony that same evening without informing friends or family. Bailee Ann shares a close bond with her father, who celebrated her graduation and 18th birthday last month. On Instagram, Jelly Roll praised his daughter: “When we talk about generational curses and breaking them, you literally are the epitome of that. You are kind, smart, caring, loving, adventurous, funny, sassy, honest.” He added: “To put it plainly, you were everything I have never been.”
