Trump’s State of the Union Set for Economic ‘Miracle’ Focus, Texas Rep Claims

Representative Beth Van Duyne, a Republican from Texas, stated on Tuesday that President Donald Trump will emphasize his “miraculous” economic turnaround during the upcoming State of the Union address.

Van Duyne described America’s recent revival as taking “a miraculous new life of its own,” attributing it to policies under the current administration and bills passed by a Republican majority in both the House and Senate. She noted that wage increases have now outpaced inflation, with foreign investments surging significantly.

The representative highlighted industrial output and housing market trends, stating that lower home prices and mortgage rates result directly from reducing three million illegal immigrants. Van Duyne also emphasized tax rebates as “the highest in our nation’s history,” saying Trump will discuss how these measures are putting more cash into Americans’ hands immediately.

Additionally, Van Duyne revealed plans to feature an Immigration and Customs Enforcement employee at Trump’s speech, calling them “heroes” who help rid streets of criminals. She noted that the Dallas ICE Field Office handles high-profile immigration enforcement cases nationwide and criticized Democrats for obstructing their work.

In separate remarks, Trump press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Americans can expect a State of the Union address focused heavily on economic conditions, national security, and the administration’s record both domestically and internationally.
