Trump Promises Military Response to Iran’s Nuclear Advances, Analyst Reveals Hidden Facility

Former CIA analyst and senior fellow at the America First Policy Institute Fred Fleitz stated that Iran has not abandoned its plans to destroy Israel.

Speaking on “The Chris Salcedo Show” Monday, Fleitz noted that comments from Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian declaring war with the United States, Israel, and Europe carry little weight. “I don’t read much into this response,” Fleitz said.

Fleitz described Iran’s threat-making as standard behavior, emphasizing that Iranian leaders remain determined to dismantle Israel. “This is just what Iranian leaders do. I don’t discount the fact that they still want to destroy the state of Israel,” he added.

Earlier on Saturday, Pezeshkian told an interviewer: “In my opinion, we are in a full-fledged war with America, Israel, and Europe; they do not want our country to stand on its feet.”

Fleitz expressed concern that Iran may be developing a nuclear production facility. “There is at least one deeply buried weapons of mass destruction facility called Pickaxe Mountain that could be used to build nuclear weapons or missiles,” Fleitz said. “We don’t know yet. We know Iran is working on that.”

The former House Intelligence Committee staff member noted that President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had critical discussions during their meeting at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago. Fleitz questioned whether the United States should attack Iranian sites, stating: “Is it necessary to attack these sites? Do we wait to see what happens?”

Fleitz warned that the U.S. and Israel face “very significant and dire issues” that require careful consideration.

Trump told reporters following his meeting with Netanyahu he would not hesitate to order a military strike against Iran if evidence emerged that Tehran was rebuilding its nuclear program after the June U.S. strike. “I hear Iran is trying to build up again, and if they are, we have to knock them down,” Trump said. “We’ll knock the hell out of them.”

Trump also stated he remained open to negotiating a “deal,” which he called “much smarter.”
