Rubio Condemns Jimmy Lai’s 20-Year Sentence as ‘Unjust and Tragic’

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated on Monday that Hong Kong media tycoon Jimmy Lai’s sentencing to 20 years in prison was an “unjust and tragic conclusion” to his case, urging authorities to grant him “humanitarian parole.”
