Rep. Randy Fine Condemns Rising Antisemitism in GOP Amid Controversy Over Tucker Carlson’s Remarks

Rep. Randy Fine, R-Fla., criticized the Republican Party’s handling of antisemitism during an interview with Newsmax, urging party members to confront what he described as a growing threat within conservative circles.

Fine told “Newsline” that antisemitism is “coming to our own party,” adding, “We have to stand up against it.” He highlighted his remarks at the weekend Republican Jewish Coalition conference, where he directly addressed conservative commentator Tucker Carlson.

“The most dangerous antisemite on the right is Tucker Carlson,” Fine asserted. He noted that Carlson had “fallen prey to this delusional darkness,” accusing him of demonizing President [Donald] Trump, American Jews, and Israel while aligning with nations like China, Iran, and Russia.

The congressman referenced Carlson’s recent interview with Nick Fuentes, a figure linked to white nationalist and antisemitic ideologies. Fine condemned the encounter, stating, “There comes a time to pick a side… if you want to stand with the modern-day leader of the Hitler Youth, then I’m going to stand against you.”

Fine also reposted a graphic from Fuentes featuring the text “Team Hitler,” responding, “400,000 Americans died to defeat Team Hitler. You are the very definition of America Last.”

Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts distanced himself from Fuentes’ views but criticized cancel culture as an inappropriate response. He announced his office was ending a planned event with Heritage, stating, “We’re not working with Heritage any longer.”

Fine emphasized the urgency of addressing what he called the “apparent rise of antisemitic positions among America’s conservatives,” labeling it “very dangerous.”
