Paris Jackson shared details about her ongoing health struggles in a recent TikTok video, revealing permanent nasal damage caused by past drug use. In the clip posted Monday, the 27-year-old musician and actor used her phone’s light to highlight a visible hole inside her nose, explaining she has lived with a perforated septum since age 20.

“I have a really loud whistle when I breathe through my nose,” Jackson said, noting the condition differs from a deviated septum. “Don’t do drugs, kids.” She described how drug use “ruined my life” and emphasized her six years of sobriety, stating she avoids surgery to repair the damage due to her decision to forgo prescription pain medication.

Jackson humorously remarked that she could “thread a spaghetti noodle” through the hole in her septum, acknowledging potential challenges during studio sessions. Her comments follow recent discussions about her recovery journey, including a speech at the 35th annual Friendly House Awards Luncheon in Los Angeles and an Instagram post celebrating five years of sobriety.

“I didn’t just get my life back. I got a better one,” she said, reflecting on her progress. Jackson also shared how sobriety has allowed her to embrace daily moments, from creating music to connecting with her pets and experiencing emotions fully. “I feel the sun on my skin and it’s warm,” she added, expressing gratitude for her recovery.
