Epstein File Release “Drip-Drip-Drip” Method Sparks Legal Threats, Victim Attorney Warns

Stella Green, December 23, 2025

Attorney Gloria Allred, who represents more than two dozen clients alleging abuse by Jeffrey Epstein, warned Tuesday that the government’s handling of the released files has been described as “sloppy” and could lead to significant legal repercussions.

Allred stated that victims may pursue justice through Congress or the courts. She noted lawmakers are closely monitoring the situation, particularly oversight committees that have expressed concern over the delayed and incomplete release of documents ordered by a court on December 19.

The attorney emphasized that the main issue is whether victims will receive justice. She described two potential avenues: Congress or the courts. Allred criticized the government for releasing files in what she called a “drip, drip, drip” manner rather than fulfilling the court-ordered timeline and highlighted that some victims’ names were not protected from public release.

The Department of Justice confirmed that certain documents included unfounded claims about former President Donald Trump made to the FBI prior to the 2020 election and later verified those materials as fraudulent.
