Angel Families’ Thanksgiving Thanks Skip Critical Mass Deportation Push Stella Green, December 10, 2025 By Michael Reagan and Michael R. Shannon The American Border Story, an organization on our side that champions border closure, claims victory in its campaign — a triumph largely attributable to the Trump administration. This week, TABS released a video featuring Angel Families, citizens who have lost loved ones to crimes tied to the border crisis, expressing gratitude to President Trump for his strong stance on immigration enforcement. The video includes testimonials from families such as Joe Abraham, whose daughter Katie was killed in a drunken-driving accident caused by an illegal immigrant. “We hope you continue the dedication toward that. We really don’t want any other families to have to suffer the pain and despair we’ve gone through,” he said. “So keep it up, and we appreciate you.” Another family featured is Agnes Gibboney, whose son Ronald Da Silva was murdered by an illegal immigrant in California in 2002. She thanked Trump for his “courage, strength, determination, and love for our country” and wrote: “Thank you and your administration for securing our borders and deporting criminal illegal aliens and for keeping Americans safe.” However, the families missed a key opportunity to also thank ICE and urge President Trump to deliver on his pledge for mass deportations. The children of Angel Families were killed by individuals who had already entered the country. These individuals were not necessarily criminals prior to committing their crimes. Therefore, closing the border and deporting “criminal illegal aliens” is only part of the solution. The real solution lies in fulfilling Trump’s promise of mass deportations for all illegal immigrants. As we have noted before, America First means putting Americans first — a principle that requires expelling all illegal foreigners. Given the enemy media’s tendency to highlight immigrant tragedies without context, Angel Families could have provided crucial insight by emphasizing the need for mass deportations. Moreover, these families should be at the forefront of Republican efforts during the midterm campaign. They embody the Democratic Party’s preference for legal immigration over American security and values. Michael Reagan, the eldest son of President Ronald Reagan, is a Newsmax TV analyst.
