17 White House Visits to Jeffrey Epstein: Rep. Grothman Calls for Clintons’ Testimony

Rep. Glenn Grothman, R-Wis., announced on Saturday he intends to seek testimony from both former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton regarding their relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, noting the Clintons are not known for their honesty under oath.

The House Oversight Committee will conduct depositions of Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton at their Chappaqua, N.Y., residence on Thursday, February 26, and Friday, February 27.

Grothman stated that by requiring the committee to hold the depositions at the Clintons’ home, only 12 members would attend. “I plan on being there to hear testimony from both of them, particularly Bill’s testimony, which I think will be the more interesting of the two,” he said in remarks on Saturday.

Grothman added that Epstein’s name has surfaced frequently and he appears in photographs linked to the Clintons. “There’s a whole bunch of things that have come out of late,” he remarked.

The representative noted former President Clinton brought Epstein to the White House 17 times and flew on his private jet 26 times. “We’d like to find out what was discussed there, what was going on, what were his interactions with Ghislaine Maxwell,” Grothman said.

“And not to mention we’d like to know about other people that were there,” he stated.

Grothman emphasized the need to investigate who knew about Epstein’s crimes during the depositions. “I think Bill and Hillary don’t have a reputation for being 100% honest under oath,” he added. “So it may be more interesting if down the road, we get people who are a little bit more concerned about telling the truth.”

He also plans to question Hillary Clinton about Epstein’s involvement with the Clinton Foundation. “Why were they bringing Jeffrey Epstein into this matter?” Grothman inquired. “To what degree did his donations impact his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell?”

“He may just deny knowing him, but she was heavily involved in the foundation,” he concluded.
