Lara Trump Claims Donald Trump Holds Secret Speech on Extraterrestrial Life

Lara Trump, the president’s daughter-in-law, said Wednesday that President Donald Trump possesses a prepared speech about extraterrestrial life he plans to deliver “at the right time,” according to her comments on the “Pod Force One” podcast.

In the remarks, Trump described past conversations with her husband, Eric Trump, in which they asked the president about UFOs and aliens. “I’ve heard kind of around — I think my father-in-law has actually said it — that there is some speech that he has that I guess at the right time — I don’t know when the right time is — he’s going to break out and talk about, and it has to do with maybe some sort of extraterrestrial life,” she stated.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said the claim was “news to me” during Wednesday’s briefing. She added that she would have to consult the speech-writing team for further clarification.

Leavitt’s comment referenced a recent discussion involving former President Barack Obama, who joked about aliens on a podcast earlier this week. Obama later stated he had seen no evidence of extraterrestrial contact with Earth.

The renewed focus follows congressional interest in unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), including a July 2023 House Oversight subcommittee hearing that featured testimony from former intelligence officer David Grusch and two military pilots. Grusch alleged that information about UAP programs was being withheld, a claim the Pentagon has disputed.

A March 2024 report by the Pentagon’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office found no evidence that the U.S. government or private companies had reverse-engineered extraterrestrial technology or concealed “off-world technology” or extraterrestrial biological material.
