Mace Calls Democrats’ Epstein Hearing “True Circus” as She Targets Co-Conspirators

South Carolina Representative Nancy Mace accused Democrats of transforming a recent judicial hearing into “a true circus” rather than pursuing the truth about Jeffrey Epstein’s case on Saturday.

Mace, speaking during an interview, argued that victims deserve aggressive efforts to identify and punish potential co-conspirators and witnesses tied to the investigation. She emphasized lawmakers should have focused on “the real victims” and unresolved questions regarding “co-conspirators” instead of “political theater.”

During the discussion, Mace stated, “They made the judicial hearing a true circus rather than getting to the bottom of the truth,” adding that “the real victims deserve nothing less.” She noted that “we still don’t know why other people weren’t indicted” and expressed plans to seek testimony from individuals she believes could provide critical information.

The House Judiciary Committee recently held an oversight hearing on Wednesday with Attorney General Pam Bondi as witness, where she faced sharp questioning over the Justice Department’s handling of Epstein-related files.

Mace reported sending a letter to Bondi regarding criticism of President Trump linked to discussions about Epstein files. In the letter, she requested explanations for why certain DOJ documents were removed after being posted online and asked for details on their restoration timing. She claimed the materials pertain to potential co-conspirators, citing that “the Southern District of New York provided redacted documents specifically as it relates to potential co-conspirators.” Mace demanded those documents unredacted and explicitly stated she wants “the co-conspirators’ names.”

She also indicated plans to submit requests to the Central Intelligence Agency, claiming she possesses information suggesting the agency holds relevant details. Additionally, Mace called for “a copy of every passport that Epstein has ever had under every pseudonym,” adding, “There’s more to this than meets the eye, and I’m going to get to the bottom of it.”

When asked why she made the issue a personal mission, Mace identified herself as a “survivor” and described the effort as “deeply personal.” She insisted that those who abuse victims “get the full throttle of the law,” adding that the Epstein saga “is emblematic of a cultural issue in America” where she claimed “no one ever goes to jail.”
