Turning Point USA Unveils All-American Halftime Show for Super Bowl LX

Turning Point USA has revealed that its alternate Super Bowl LX halftime show will feature Kid Rock, Lee Brice, Brantley Gilbert, and Gabby Barrett.

The four entertainers will perform in what is billed as the Turning Point USA All-American Halftime Show. The organization announced the lineup on social media platforms, with Gabby Barrett and Lee Brice co-signing the announcement on their Instagram accounts.

An official website for the event provides a sign-up option for viewers to receive updates about the February 8 broadcast.

The alternative show is reportedly in response to Bad Bunny’s selection as the Super Bowl LX halftime performer. The Puerto Rico-born artist, who sings primarily in Spanish, has been publicly critical of President Donald Trump and U.S. immigration enforcement policies. Critics have argued that the NFL should have chosen a different artist or reconsidered its decision amid widespread backlash.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell dismissed concerns about potential criticism, stating, “I’m not sure we’ve ever selected an artist where we didn’t have some blowback or criticism,” he said last fall. “It’s pretty hard to do when you have literally hundreds of millions of people that are watching.”

Details regarding the alternative show remain limited, including whether it will air live or if all performances will originate from a single location. A typical Super Bowl halftime show lasts about 30 minutes, allowing for one or two songs per performer.

Turning Point USA plans to stream its program on YouTube, including its main channel and the Charlie Kirk Show channel, as well as on Rumble and the organization’s X account. The alternative event is free to watch for all viewers.

The official Super Bowl LX halftime show will also be available for free on NBC.

Counterprogramming during the Super Bowl halftime show is not uncommon, with Animal Planet having aired its Puppy Bowl and the Hallmark Channel offering the Kitten Bowl in recent years.
