Conservative Filmmaker Warns of America’s Despiritualization in New Film

Conservative filmmaker and political commentator Dinesh D’Souza told Newsmax on Monday that the left is actively working to “despiritualize America,” a trend he claims has resonated with younger generations. D’Souza, who presented his new film The Dragon’s Prophecy during an appearance on “The Chris Salcedo Show,” argued that the film highlights a growing spiritual revival among Gen Z.

D’Souza pointed to the killing of conservative leader Charlie Kirk as part of this cultural shift, stating, “I very much want this film to be a part of that renewal.” He also linked the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas attack on Israel to biblical narratives, noting parallels between the conflict and ancient battles described in religious texts.

“The Philistines and Palestine share the same name,” D’Souza said, drawing attention to historical and linguistic connections he claims underscore the significance of the current geopolitical landscape.
